How many of these 10 secrets of success do you practice?
1.How you think is everything. Remember to “think positive” at every opportunity. Visualize success, not failure. Avoid negative environments and people.
2.Decide on your dreams and goals. Be specific about your goals. For example, say “I am taking a cooking class next month,” rather than “I would like to take a cooking class sometime.” Create a plan to reach your goals, and stick to it.
3.Take action. Goals alone have no meaning; you need to take action to make them real. Don’t let fear hold you back. "Just do it."
4.Never stop learning. Take classes, go back to school, read books, join a discussion group. If you are interested in a subject, make time to learn about it. Keep acquiring new skills.
5.Be persistent and work hard. You’ve probably heard the expression, “success is a marathon, not a sprint.” Keep your eye on the goal, and keep working toward it. Don’t give up.
6.Learn to analyze details. Get all the facts, and ask for input. This will help you make wiser decisions. Acknowledge your mistakes, but don’t beat yourself up. Learn from your mistakes.
7.Focus your time and money. When you believe in something, put your attention and energy there. Don’t let people or things distract you.
8.Don’t be afraid to innovate; be different. Be true to yourself, and have your own ideas. Following the crowd is a path to mediocrity.
9.Communicate with people effectively. Remember that no person is an island. Communicate your thoughts and desires honestly, and encourage others to communicate honestly with you. Practice understanding and motivating other people.
10.Be honest and dependable; take responsibility for what you do. Never cheat or lie. When you make a promise, keep it. When you screw up, admit it.

Bandung, INDONESIA

Set 750m above sea level, and protected by a fortress of watchful volcanoes 190km southeast of Jakarta, BANDUNG is the third largest city in Indonesia and a centre of industry and traditional Sundanese arts – with plenty of cultural performances for tourists – though it suffers from incredible traffic pollution and uninteresting modern developments. Sundanese culture has remained intact here since the fifth century when the first Hindu Sundanese settled in this part of West Java. Modern Bandung's main tourist attraction is nearby Tangkbuhan Prahu volcano, from where there's a very pleasant two-hour forest walk down to the city, too.

The Dutch spotted the potential of this lush, cool plateau and its fertile volcanic slopes in the mid-seventeenth century, and set about cultivating coffee and rice here, settling in the area to live in the early nineteenth century. Several relics from the city's colonial era remain, including some of the elegant shops along Jalan Braga, and some fine buildings on Jalan Asia-Afrika.

Technological Failure

Technological failure is the one type of disaster that have potential damage to cause the number of casualties in large quantities. Aircraft accidents, fires factories, vehicle accident due to a breakdown of control systems, fall-rise buildings, etc., are examples of technological failure disasters. Of course, the threat of this disaster should be anticipated as soon as possible. Here, human resources must play an important role in preventing and minimizing the impact of disasters caused by technological failure.

Morale and professionalism, discipline, obedience to the procedure, is an important thing that must be actualized by every person to develop the technology without any possibility of failure. If any failure of technology occurs, the impact is not as if these things above are not implemented.
For airlines company, checking avionics and navigation become a routine activities that must be done periodically with discipline and full of prudence, accordance with the set of procedure forth by the company. Confirm that the technical officer who have responsibility for carrying out this activity are those who have high knowledge and understanding and also have enough experience in aircraft maintenance activities.
